Federal Report Urges Shoring Up Aging Natural Gas Storage Facilities to Prevent Leaks


The massive leak at Aliso Canyon prompted a task force to convene and discuss ways to keep more than 400 facilities nationwide safer. By Lisa Song The more than 400 natural gas storage facilities across the country should phase out the flawed well designs like the one that produced the massive leak at Aliso Canyon last year, a federal report released on Tuesday said.
